Germany's largest credit portal makes loans transparent, fair and affordable for consumers. Through digital processes, smava offers an overview of 70 loans between 1,000 and 120,000 euros from more than 20 banks and lending partners. This allows consumers to select the loan that is right for them and conclude it directly. On average, borrowers pay over 35 percent less interest than the national average by concluding a loan via smava. To date, smava has brokered installment loans totaling more than 8 billion euros, including around 2.7 billion euros in 2019 alone. One of Germany's largest fintech companies headquartered in Berlin, smava employs around 600 people from more than 40 nations. smava is led by an experienced management team from the finance and technology sectors. Renowned investors such as Vitruvian Partners, Verdane Capital, Runa Capital and Earlybird have invested a total of 159 million US dollars in smava to date.
